All documents are handled by Fortune Motors as well ensuring all regulatory requirements are upheld and your sale is properly documented. We will also work with your bank if your vehicle is being financed to ensure all documentation and funds are received.
If your sale requires shipment no worries we can coordinate all shipping and its at no additional cost to you. Our full service brokerage is built around ensuring you get maximum value, while mitigating risk, and adding simplicity to the sale process.
Our Process
1. Set Appointment
Reach out to us using the form below or simply give us a call. Be sure to let us know if you are setting a future appointment or if you are in need of same day services. We do offer urgent appointments for in the moment sales for an additional service fee.
2. SWIFT Service
Upon our arrival your expert will begin preparing the documents needed for requested services. All services are included in your SWIFT transaction which you are able to pick and choose from.
(For example you can choose to only utilize the electronic title transfer and issue a temporary tag while leaving the other features behind.)
3. Complete Transaction
Once all requested services are complete both the seller and buyer will be provided with copies of their portions from the transaction. Once completed the vehicle title will be transferred into the new owners name and a temporary operating permit will be issued to the vehicle making it legal to drive on public roads.
If a new plate is requested, that will come in the mail via the state of Georgia. For out of state transactions only a temporary operating permit will be provided.
Services Included with SWIFT
Electronic Title Transfer
With electronic title transfers there is no need to walk your title into your tag office. Fortune Motors will submit the transfer directly to the state making for a seamless and secure transaction. Titles can be placed in either your personal or business name directly on site of your sale.
If you are financing your new purchase we can also add lien holders to the title.
(Appropriate sales tax is collected at this time on the states behalf)
License Plate Issue
On site we are able to issue your license plate from the state. Once submitted. by us a temporary operating permit along with temporary registration will be issued and printed for the vehicle allowing you to complete your sale and enjoy your vehicle immediately without taking a trip to your local tag office.
For Out of state buyers we are also able to provide a temporary operating permit along with temporary registration allowing you to legally transport your new vehicle until you are able to fully transfer your title in your home state.
Secure Funds Transfer
For safety Fortune Motors offers a secure funds transfer option. This allows both parties to keep their banking information private while adding a layer of protection against fraud.
Simply securely transfer funds to Fortune Motors while on site or before your appointment using Certified funds (Cashiers check or Wire transfer). Until payment has cleared the title transfer will remain on Hold for added security.
A deposit those funds will be sent directly into your bank account via wire transfer or issue a certified check to you within 24 Hours of clearing.
